Still Nerds

It’s been a couple years but Joe and I started playing again. We’ve composed and made beautiful music together- him on his trumpet and me on my flute. After receiving so many inquiries about being booked for weddings and dance parties, we finally made our professional brochure. Our children have been so inspired that we have found them practicing their violins for hours each day. Music has created so many memories for us as a family this year.

Okay, fine. I’m fibbing. Again. It’s actually been 20 years since we’ve played. We didn’t even remember we owned instruments. He keeps telling me I’m sharp and I keep telling him he’s flat. I nearly had to resuscitate him when I told him to play an octave up. Our children politely slow clap when we are done dueting together and Blitz keeps running out of the room we are playing in...and somehow manages to close the door to the room we keep finding him in.

Side note- who knew there was a filter option that actually blacks-out the complete chaos going on around what you are taking a picture of?!

All this aside, we are happy to consider being booked for children’s or pet’s birthday parties. Just let us know!
