Our Marvelous Moments with Mr. M
Written for our friends at SMDS after our weekend of memory making together-
We had so many moments with Mr. M, the marvelous and memorable kind. He helped us out in the chicken coop, collecting all the eggs he could find. Mr. M marched around Mount Vernon, on a history tour, He learned about pretend teeth and asked, "Is that a wig that George wore?"
Speaking of teeth, Mr. M LOVES to munch, There wasn't a time that he ever skipped lunch. He asked for a bite of everyone's food, He was a guest in our home- we didn't want to be rude.
Mr. M played babies with Cashen and hid in the mums, He watched ice hockey players slide on their bums! He rode on our pony; Princess Umbrella's her name, He cheered and he clapped at Cashen's brothers' soccer games.
We had so many moments with Mr. M, the marvelous and memorable kind. We loved sharing our farm, what adventures we had; if he stayed, we sure wouldn't mind! But Mr. M missed his home of St. Margaret's Day School, he missed his Letter Friends, too But his most marvelous moments he missed most of all, is learning with each one of YOU!
