Joeybear Day
We spent the day together outside doing work around our farm; making banana oatmeal pancakes; hanging Christmas lights up; and getting the boys to and from hockey. Everyone laughed, argued, perhaps needed a nap (but didn’t take one), and then laughed again. I can’t say that our day was filled with anything too different than what it usually is filled with, although I wanted it to be- for him. But he told us his best days are the ones we spend with each other- no matter what we do. So we sipped our hot chocolate, gobbled our cookies, and together celebrated the greatest gift one could celebrate on a birthday: living. As Joe says, one doesn’t need anything more than that.
Happy birthday to my Joeybear. You are so very loved.
