Hold Tight Your Pen.

Our 2021-2022 school year together. What we've learned, grown, and written holds strong and keeps us moving forward. These past two and a half years of teaching them- and them teaching me- has been a gift.

My children. There is magic in your pen; and in you. To write is to seek and to explore; to create and to influence. One extraordinary gift that you have in life is the ability to train your thoughts well; to write your own words. You are your greatest influencer. You hold the magic that creates your stories; each one with a beginning and an end; each one a chapter along the way of your own adventurous ongoing journey of life. Some stories you gain from; some you grow from; and some are simple reminders that you are a human being with a great capacity to feel your emotions. And feel, you should; I promise you that; feel them all the way through.

The past two and half years created a different story for each of you. It is your own story of gains; and growth; of feelings and emotions; of twists and turns; of zigs and zags. You are your own hero. Remember that.

May you always hold tight your pen; your produce; and your sense of humor. May you think well, write boldly, and create incredibly, the life that you are meant to live. Live it proud. And above all, may you keep your head, your heart, and your feet aligned in each of your stories along the way.
