Family with Feathers and Fur

I can't possibly describe what our furry and feathery farm family means to us. They have provided our home with laughter, comfort, and stories of the best kind to tell. They have taught our children, as well as Joe and I, about the kind of work that doesn't feel so much like work. The time, effort, and care we put in feels like it truly matters. We get to take care of them; and in return they take care of us, each in their own way. Our animals have taught us lessons about life through love, a bit of loss and and a kind of loyalty that I pray my children always remember and show throughout their lives.
