Friday Night Lights

Self discipline. We talk about it a lot. To do those hard things even when the easy way is right there in front of you and no one is looking; to do the "right" thing, even when everyone else might not be; to block out the noise and really take a moment to listen to what the silence is saying; to be brave; to be strong; and to understand what those words truly mean at the time in a given situation. Sometimes self discipline is a lonely place. That's okay. Often, potential is realized and greatness is built on the quiet roads that others choose not to take.
